지난 봄에, 경남 진주시 대평유적에서 출토된 청동유물을 소개한 바 있다.

이 유물은 출토될 당시에 발굴정황상 많은 사람들이 청동기시대의 것을 의심스러워 했으나, 최근에 여러 정황상 이 유물은 청동기시대의 것이 맞으며, 한국에서 비파형동검 보다 빠른 시기에도 청동기유물이 있음을 입증하는 유물임을 밝힌 바 있다.
이는 연해주의 청동기 문화인 시니가이 문화와 관련이 있고, 시니가이에서 출토된 청동유물은 시베리아의 카라숙문화에서 부터 전해진 것으로 보았다.
